Create Your Wallet

Your wallet lives in 12 words. Guard them carefully.

The Seed Phrase

When you create a wallet, BeeWallet generates a 12-word seed phrase. These words, in order, are your entire wallet. Anyone with these words controls your Bitcoin.

Critical Security Warning

  • • Write down your seed phrase on paper
  • • Store it somewhere safe, offline
  • • Never share it with anyone
  • • Never enter it into a website
  • • BeeWallet will never ask for it

Creating Your Wallet

  1. Open BeeWallet and tap “Create New Wallet”
  2. Read and accept the terms
  3. Your 12-word seed phrase will be displayed
  4. Write down each word in order
  5. Verify by entering the words when prompted
  6. Set a PIN or enable biometrics

What Your Seed Creates

From those 12 words, BeeWallet derives:

  • Your Bitcoin wallet and all addresses
  • Your Nostr identity (npub)
  • Your Mobinumber
  • Encryption keys for secure storage
